Homecoming featured a great game between #12 Auburn and #17 Florida State. FSU’s Heisman candidate Gary Huff – the Magic Dragon – threw four picks and was held to 28 yards passing.
“Huff went puff,” as the 1973 Glomerata put it.
Auburn won 27-14.
